Romanian United Fund organizes fundraiser for Via Transilvanica in Chicago

Join Romanian United Fund to hear more about Via Transilvanica, about Via Transilvanica, the hiking trail that connects Putna to Drobeta-Turnu Severin: the story behind it, the dreams, the amazing people who are helping make it a reality. Come and meet one of the initiators, Alin Useriu talk about his hopes and struggles and dreams and find out how you can help build the hiking trail everyone is excited about.
The andesite markers that line the trail and guide the hikers could have “Chicago” written on them.
Come to the fundraiser and help put Chicago on a map in Romania. It sounds a bit quirky, but oh, so wonderful!
The fundraising event for Via Transilvanica will take place on December 5th at Stan Mansion.”
