From its beginnings, Alexandrion Group has stood out as a pioneer in the spirits industry, setting new standards for quality and innovation. Its diverse portfolio includes award-winning products such as Carpathian Single Malt Whisky, Alexandrion brandy, Brâncoveanu Vinars, and Domeniile Alexandrion Rhein 1892 wines, including Rhein Extra. The Group is the first producer of single malt whisky in the Carpathian Mountains region, with Carpathian Single Malt Whisky becoming a highly successful product internationally in only 2 years from the launch. A strong connection with the royal family of Romania was established more than 100 years ago, when The Rhein & CIE Azuga Cellars 1892, part of the Alexandrion Group, were set-up. Alexandrion Group has been the official supplier of the Royal House of Romania for many years, while Rhein Extra, the oldest sparkling wine produced without interruption at the Cellars, was served at the coronation ceremony of King Ferdinand I and Queen Marie, in 1922.
