A 20-strong student study group from Northeastern University was invited to Vacaresti Nature Park in Bucharest. They joined in helping with landscaping improvements and plantings as part of a work-study trip in Romania. The visit was a result of suggestions by Dan Dimancescu to the project coordinator and environmental studies Professor Tara Duffy. This was her second work-study trip having visited both Vacaresti and the Foundation for Carpathian Conservation in 2017.
