The Alianta Gala was created to celebrate the importance of the Romanian-American relationship. Each year we honor a prominent American or Romanian-American with a special award at The Alianta Gala. These individuals have throughout their careers contributed to the US-Romanian relationship in various ways and have been an inspiration for thousands of people that follow their example.

Hosted in Washington, DC, the gala is an opportunity for the Alianta community to come together and celebrate everything that makes up the Romanian-American community in the US. It is also an experience of great networking as attendees are often members of different professional organizations, companies, and cultural institutions that host events throughout the year.
