The Leon Feraru Series is a program launched recently by the Romanian Cultural Institute in New York City, named after Leon Feraru, a Romanian poet, literary historian and translator, who can be credited with the invention of Romanian cultural diplomacy. The next talk in the Feraru Series deals with the turbulent prospects of the economic arena and their impact on the transatlantic cooperation, including the cultural sectors, in the company of one of the most brilliant American minds in financial planning, international economic relations and economic analysis, Dr. Charles Frank, former Acting Director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and board member of the influential American NGO promoting the US/Romanian partnership, Alianta.
